Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Workers’ Rights (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

Description of Service

Workers’ Rights is an informational platform that provides general legal information about employment rights, tools for documenting workplace events, and resources for finding legal representation. The Platform is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and does not create an attorney-client relationship.

Appropriate Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes. You shall not:

  • Use the Platform to harass, threaten, or defame any person
  • Submit false information to generate misleading legal assessments
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the Platform’s content
  • Use automated systems to scrape or access the Platform in bulk

Informational Purposes Only

All content on the Platform is for general informational purposes. The legal information provided may not be current, complete, or applicable to your situation. See our Legal Disclaimer for full details.

Your Data

Case data you create using the Platform is stored locally on your device. You are solely responsible for backing up and maintaining your data. Workers’ Rights is not responsible for any loss of locally-stored data due to browser clearing, device changes, or other causes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Pricing & Future Changes

Workers’ Rights is currently in early access. During this period, all features are provided free of charge with no credit card required.

As the platform grows, we reserve the right to introduce paid subscription tiers for certain advanced features. If and when pricing is introduced:

  • You will receive advance notice before any features you currently use become paid
  • Core informational features (rights assessment, legal guides, attorney directory) will remain accessible
  • Your existing data will remain accessible regardless of your subscription tier
  • Pricing and billing terms will be clearly communicated before any payment is required

Continued use of the Platform after pricing changes are announced and take effect constitutes acceptance of those changes. We will provide at least 30 days’ notice before any pricing changes affect your access to features.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Workers’ Rights and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Platform in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
